We actually did this one for ourselves (full disclosure). We wanted a pool…it gets hot here…but the yard is severely sloped and leveling and bulldozing were out of the question.
Solution? Build an enormously well supported deck. Add an 8×16 above ground pool. Then trim it out with corrugated sheet metal and wood to make a perfect area to cool off in the summer!
